In this article I wrote about using the Sims game to create the house on Tiger Mountain. I also made the Seattle house that Harry bought for himself and the boys when they moved from Anaconda. It becomes Caleb's house after he kicks his father out, and a few years later Wynter knocks on his door...
Firstly, I made Wynter’s family as Sims characters so they could live in the house and appear in the screenshots. Because, why not?
The house itself was much simpler than the Tiger Mountain house. It's a 1300-square-foot suburban 3-bedroom home - so let's take a look!
Exterior shot, showing the porch, adjoining garage, kitchen on the left of the front door, and dining room on the right.
While this house looks neat as a pin, that's only because Caleb devotes every weekend to maintenance.
This is the dining room to the right, through an archway when you first walk in. Jesse’s homework is spread out on the table - pretty much the first thing Wynter sees when she arrives.
The door leads into the garage.
View from the living room into the kitchen. On the far left is the entry hall (and to the left of that is the dining room, as above).
Living room from a different angle, with Indio and Wynter playing video games.
The door on the far right of the picture that you can just see leads to the bedrooms.
The first bedroom on the left is Wynter’s small room (formerly Indio’s, and she didn’t redecorate). The bathroom and laundry doors are opposite this room.
At the end of the corridor is Caleb’s bedroom (he’s relaxing on his bed - must be taking a rare day off).
Beyond the stairs to the basement is Jesse’s room – he’s doing some tough calculations on his computer. The wall on the left containing the built-in-closet (backing onto Caleb’s built-in-closet) is removed here.
Jesse’s room from the opposite side (he didn’t make his bed, of course).
